Nidderdale Show News

Plans are well underway for the 2015 Nidderdale Show which this year includes some new local classes for the green fingered residents.  As well as all the usual classes, the show have added new local classes in the Horticultural  section which includes potatoes, onions and the ugliest vegetable, plums, blackberries and rhubarb, sweet peas, the largest sunflower head and a vase of flowers judged on scent alone.  Debra Hardcastle, Chief Steward of the display marquee, said  “It would be great to see an increase in local entries in this section so we have put in extra classes just for those people living within 10 miles of Pateley Bridge Post Office.”  Click HERE for full details of all the classes in the Horticultural section.
