How to find us

Finding the Showground
From Ripley near Harrogate take the B6165
From Ripon take the B6265
From the South on the A59 take the B6451

Alternative local routes:
Dacre Top: Traffic from Harrogate can follow the A59 and take the B6451 to Dacre Top. Turn left over Heyshaw, right on the Pateley Bridge road past Yorke’s Folly (Two Stoops) and down in to Bewerley.

Glasshouses Crossroads: On the B6165 from Harrogate, light show traffic can turn left down Bewerley Lane (locally known as Cow Pasture Lane) and into Bewerley

These alternative routes will both be signed, so look out for the Show signs!

Traffic

Because the Nidderdale Show is so popular, traffic can be quite heavy at certain times on Show Day. Judging of the Horse Classes begins at 8.00am. At 11.00am the High Street in Pateley Bridge is closed to traffic for a short time to allow the Brass Band led Show Parade to march down the High Street.

Drivers are advised to travel early or to take advantage of well-signed alternative routes where appropriate.

Parking

Parking in the Showfield on Show day is £5. Free parking on Show day is available in Bewerley at Clayton’s Field, Silcroft Field and Stoney’s Field. All parking areas will be well signed. Entry for pedestrians will be through the top Bewerley gate where normal admission charges will apply.

Free park and ride to and from the Showfield will be provided using tractor and trailer people carriers, first from Silcroft Meadow and later from Stoney’s Field. Entry will be through the Bewerley gate and normal admission charges will apply.
